i just bought the first season of serenity the ty show for my dad on christmas. it was the very first show we watched on tv that day. he said he misses the show and wishes it was back on tv.

Fox made such a mistake when they stopped this show...not only because we loved it but because they could have made a lot of money off of it if they hadn't messed up

The Fox has made its single biggest mistake by canceling this outstanding series!
Firefly was the best sci-fi show in decades! You, Mr. Murdoch, have a long list of lifelong enemies until you restart Firefly!
More to the point, this is really one of the best theme songs ever.

@CrownedWithLaurels Fox aired the episodes out of order, and changed the when the episodes played at a whim. Fox effed up. The cult following this show has reminds me of The Office's first season, and you see where that show went. I am by no means saying that the show would have done gangbusters, but I think the following would have built in a way to sustain a large profit had Fox handled the series right.
