Kind of a joke, don't ya think? Maybe make it more complicated with more turns in it, or duct the air from the ass-end of the car? That'll up the horsepower!
Put a filter (none of that K+N garbage) in the shaker and connect it directly to the throttle body. Done.

whatever happened to the shaker for dodge rams? and why are these so damned expensive?

Whoa! Most systems like this just scoop air over to the air box. I had no idea this was going to be a hood completely designed to have integral capability to channel air to the box. Pretty high speed.
