All these things call out our names every now and then but we're far TOO GOOD to let them weigh us down! Over the years (all 22 of them) I've realized that there's always going to be opportunities for people to feel like worthless pieces of junk that will never do anything worth writing home about.

Just the other day I was at a shoot for an ad and let's just say I've gained a few....lets say inches, with the merriment of Christmas and Easter....which is perfectly normal right? (as I console myself) So my agent was acting like I was the most obese black rhino he had ever seen and I felt like a hideous toad next to the super size zero hottie I was posing with. Now that left me a bit scarred and as I licked the wounds of my battered self esteem later that day, I was reminded that the best way to shake that kind of dirt off my shoulder is to know who God made me to be: a conqueror, an over-comer, a light and that's more than what was being asked of me at that lousy shoot!

Moral of this story, don't let this world put you down, go ahead and shine because you're TOO GOOD to settle for anything less. We've been given the right to be called children of God; the Don himself is your dad and that's HUGE! So whenever you feel like you don't have what it takes, remember that you really don't....only God does..
