On gor there is hardly no diseases etc in a sense of the books...If you read them the bond between master and kajira is more then simple earthingly titles as pets...its much deeper...a Master needs his Girl as much as she needs him. There is also no wanton cruelty or sadism on gor..for there is not mental issues that caused these things...if a slave does well in pleasing her master, her lot will be safe in life.

Well from my understanding, the slave has to submit totally to his or her owner, to give up all his or her rights or say in any matter- to be less than a pet.
I'm curious then: what would happen if the master or mistress becomes bored of their slave and decide to cast them aside to take on a new play thing? Or supposing the slave ends up pregnant or afflicted by disease, what would prevent the owner from just abandoning them for another?

I totally agree with carolann0922. it really makes the books come alive. If it was ever made a loooong tv-series of the books they should use "Nocturne" as thememusic. The one which is used in this video!Fits perfect to it.
