Joyous memories. Stayed in Rara Avis 3 days in 1994. It's a must do. Nature, hiking through mud, delicious food, swimming by the waterfal, exploring at night. lJust don't hang trail mix on the bunk bed. A huge rat fell on my stomach trying to get to it.

great video - brought back a lot of memories. i worked there between 1999 and 2000. Helped build the eating area, and put up the welcome sign and a lot of fond memories waiting at El Plastico for tourists to come up then guiding them up that first trail. :-) Cheers

Excellent video. We're planning a trip to Rara Avis for sometime this spring and have been reading about the tractor and the mud.
