Just because Biochemesty explains love doesn't make it any less powerful. It would be like if I explained how nerves relay messages to the brain, go into as much detail as I want, but if I prick your finger, it hurts just as much. Understanding why we evolved to love, and what's happening to us when we do love, doesn't make it any less powerful. Science doesn't take issue with love, beauty, and mystery. Our feelings of love, beauty, and mystery, are what makes us human.
