The more I hear about the crazy beliefs religious people have the more I'm amazed they sill believe. When we're young and believe in Santa we reach an age when it becomes embarrassing to admit to that belief so we're encouraged by that embarrassment to let go of it. With god, however, we skip right past that age without feeling compelled to let go and when that belief is carried well into adulthood they get trapped in that belief by the embarrassment of having to admit being wrong for so long.

I mean, you invent some religion based on a "revelation" from an angel, and you choose to name said angel "Moroni". I mean, c'mon, "Assholini" would have been better. Or in your case, as you're british, something like "Bollockini" :)

There are a load of ads in London that say "I'm a Mormon" and "Ask a Mormon". EVERY TIME my mind deletes the second M.

All that Sam Harris does is say that religion is stupid without any reasoning or facts to back it up. Look at every single thing he says. All he says is, "What you just said does not mean anything," or, "That just isn't reasonable," or "That's just stupid." And everyone claps for him and boos the person he is directing it towards. There's no reasoning with these people. They need to be rid from the Earth.
