Video slideshow of direct nonviolent action on November 15, 2008, during a rally and march at San Francisco City Hall by the SF 15 for Justice as part of a coordinated effort to protest the passage of Proposition 8 banning gay marriages. The action involved blocking off-ramp of the Central Freeway from U.S. Highway 101 and Market Street, sponsored by SF Direction Action Against Prop 8.

Beautiful Video. Beautiful Action. Civil disobedience at its best. I had heard about the intersection sit-in and subsequent arrests. I didn't realize how planned it was. nice. I was at the rally and we marched through the city that day. I'm sorry you couldn't see the tourists cheer us along. But, you had your mission. My hats off to you all for the stand you took that day and continue to take.

Thanks, it was great to be surrounded by my brothers and sisters in unity and sense of common purpose. We couldn't have done it without the millions elsewhere who were with us in spirit!
