YOu're right! I don't think there is another skater out there who is more true to himself than JOhnny Weir! He is a fine and nice person, no doubt! And yes, he's also funny!

I don't doubt it. I'm sorry you had to do all that. JW said in one ep of BGJW his expenses were in the eighty thousand dollar range. I don't know how some people can do it at all.

Johnny Weir is not at ALL rich. He does all the shows and performances to help keep his skating going. Skating is VERY expensive (coaches, costumes, music, travel), plus normal living expenses, and only certain comps pay prize money, and then only out to a few placings. There is no more COI tour where a many eligible skaters made enough to help pay for their skating, so a LOT of skaters have very limited resources. Plus, from what I understand he is also helping to support some family members.
