  • However, not a 1974. The 1974 was maroon.

  • @mrblanche There is a lot of people out there saying that my bike is not a 74. My title says 74. does anyone out there realize that parts can be changed out? Like really, how hard is it to change a tank and side panel and an oil tank. I'm calling it a 74 because under all the colors lie a 74. Besides, the year doesn't matter. i throw a leg over it and ride it, and enjoy it.

  • change the crank seal you idiot, lmao.

  • @marki61422 yep i did about 2 years ago.

  • @Floatsforlife

I had a 1975 Rd 350..Bright Orange..Always ran better, and smoked less with Torco Synthetic oil (Blue Stuff).

I never used Yamalube despite manufacturers recommendation....but I don't know if Torco is still available.

    Nice Bike, though.

  • Love the smell of twostroke

  • man whatever you do don't sell this beauty off! People like me pine for an RD till date but to no avail !!! Give her an electronic ignition (CDI) and watch her kick to her fullest just what the guys busting their nutts back in the 70s and 80s at Yamaha wanted it to !!!

Peace and keep ring a dinging!

    Yamaha RX 100 for life!
