Elisa Young is an outspoken voice in Meigs County, OH. She does not want a new coal power plant in the area. She told me there are already four coal power plants within a ten mile radius of her home, though none are in Meigs County. Listen to her unedited case on why her county does not need the plant and the air pollution that comes with it.

  • I feel that peope like you shold be put away. I live in Racine ,and know many people how have jobs ,and need jobs and would like to see the plants put up.

  • Its people like you who cost so many of us our jobs, The union workers in this area were counting on these powerhouse to provide us work so we could provide for our familes, now many of us have been out of work for over a year no unemployment left, no options. People like you should be proud to say you have cost so many people their homes and lives by costing them their jobs!! Idiot is an understatement!

  • Wwo Silbisiane you really are an idiot. Lets see I do you have College Degree and I do work in the the constrution field and i do rely on the power plants to make a good living.also $12/hr i didn't think you could make $75000/yr . You know us simple folk down here ain't too good at that mathematics. also the Obama comment IGNORANT!. cuz you know thats what were about white power idiot .also the reason you didn't marry your sister was becuz she wasn't interested in you ! so stick ur degree ....

  • Yeah, move to Athens you hippie, where all you inta-letch-oo-als sip lattes and talk about your fancy college degrees. Who gives a damn that some corporation wants to sidestep regulations as long as I can make $12/hr. So glad I moved out of Meigs and wasn't forced to marry my sister. Oh noes she mentioned Obama she must hate America.

  • move to athens hippie

  • She doesn't want a plant in Meigs County where jobs a non-existent? Hard to raise kids on no money. I guess she must be rich. She should share the wealth or bring JOBS into the area! A few bricks shy of a full load if ya ask me.

  • Hippie!!
