Media City Ballet will once again present Tchaikovsky's classic tale, The Nutcracker. Due to last year's near sellout crowd, we've added an extra performance, but it is still best to buy your tickets now in order to get the best seats.

Performances will be at 2 and 7 PM on both Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale. Tickets may be purchased by calling 818-243-ALEX (2539).

  • Funny you should mention that. Stay tuned for our "A Dancer's Work" series. One piece in perticular incorporated modern technique and fluidity of the body into her piece...except it was on pointe. It will be featured next week. Subscribe to us if you haven't done so already. :)

  • Ok, I understand now :) Ballet choreography can consist of any kind of movement as long as it matches the music and characters.
