Phil DeFranco Would Fail Philosophy Class

My old philosophy teacher was a creepy fuckin' weirdo. I did pick up a few things from philosophy class, though, like this: Making a valid argument. When I stumbled across DeFranco's response to Mr. Chi City's video about YouTube:

I paused for a moment, then watched the video he was responding to. To say that DeFranco came off as a weapons grade asshole after watching that is to say the Pacific Ocean is wet. I gave DeFranco the benefit of a doubt, but like every time I give anyone the benefit of a doubt, he proved that he wasn't worth it. Phil DeFranco is a pathetic attention whoring scumbag who only cares about promoting Phil DeFranco, and that one video proved that he can't make a valid argument and will throw a tantrum when someone calls him out on his shit...even when they don't mention him at all.

I completely agree with this. I think the people who speak out of retaliation to this video either haven't seen sxephil's video response, and/or haven't watched ALL of Mr. Chi-City's video that sxephil was responding to. I'm on Chi's side with this one though.

Philosophy 101:
1) Validity and Truth are not the same thing. Most objections you made, are matters of truth, not validity.
2a) first objection: that's not an over-generalization, it's a false premise. Although, behaviourally, an argument can be made that youtube viewers has the same habits as TV viewers, so it's not necessarily false.
2b) the ad issue was in reference to chi's partner status. You're right though, this is a tu quoque argument, and is invalid.
2c) QOFD isn't an new concept.

sxephil is not OLD news. Take a look around youtube, he's only gotten more subscribers throughout the years. And regardless of whatever your accusing him of, hes a cool ass youtuber.
