Great Vid. Tons O' flavour. Great little snap shot of one little piece of the world. A gun? Really?.... a non oily Ruger?... WTF. For $250.00 she could have bought a whole lotta cigarettes for her buddies or something. Now she'll probably accidentally shoot one of them.

Hello,
I also found your video on t2iforum.com.
I was wondering if you had a shoulder mount or free-held the camera?
And for the blurring in and out of some scenes, where you manually adjusting the focus for that effect?
Really great work.

@630alpha Hi, thanks! 90% of it is handheld, with a few tripod and Steadicam shots. By freeholding the camera I was able to hold the camera body in the palms of both hands and wrap my middle fingers up around the focus ring, so I could pull focus on the fly without jostling the camera too much. Also, the 50mm lens has a paperthin DoF, so it makes the bokeh really pop.

Awesome video! Found your link off t2iforum.com. Great cinematography and editing. That's awesome that you did that mainly off the 50 mm 1.8 lens.

@ricketts0 That 50mm lens is spectacular. Best lens for the money you can get. Thanks for the kind words!

@beerskisex Too bad I couldn't get any backyard pork ribs and some pickled jalapeños with raw onion stuffed inside. Let's do a 24-hour food tour of some town. I'll bring my camera, you bring your discerning palette.
