A true story about an unsung hero from Indonesia. He smuggled raw rubbers from Indonesia with his 15 men and a small boat for guns and ammunitions to help the fight for independence. Under heavy attacks and boat-chasing situations he always succeeded in his missions.
Now Mrs. John Lie lives alone. As her husband has passed away, the 80 years old lady is still active in her church community as a Hospital chaplain in Jakarta. She is the only one who carries on the late John Lies dreams. From her eyes, you can see that the spirit of John was still there, depicting his belief which lead him to accomplish early-stage development of a nation building, the country he loved.
The story would not be just another World War II film. It is envisaged that the film would reveal a life story of an unsung hero of Indonesia. It will also portrait an undiscovered fact from underground smugglers ring that played important roles at that time in the region.
Wooow.. this is an excellent short movie, personally, this story should be made into a 2 hours movie, it will be a superb patriotic movie.
