He is a crowntail betta. I found him on a shelf hidden at my local walmart. I feel so lucky that I found him. I knew I wanted to buy him right when I saw him. He has a scar on his face because I had a mystery snail in the tank with him, and he would bug the snail and I guess he bit the snail and the snail closed its shell on the bettas face. The betta then thrashed around and scared his face. It healed up pretty good though. My set up is an Aqueon evolve4 with some live plants and a couple of ghost shrimp. I put the snail in a one gallon tank to heal up and not get bothered by the betta. I also have a ghost shrimp in the one gallon with the snail to help him grow. He is smaller then the other two ghost shrimp. I am using a kodak playsport zx5

  • Love how dark he is :). And I bet he loves the live plants. I have a regular red male betta in the 2 gallon version, great nano tank. My other is in my 10 gallon with all live plants. He coexists amazing with my guppies - a shocker.

    fun video :)
