I am from Liberia but he is one of my favorite musician of all time - he is absolute magic. I saw him in LA in 1992 and it was like I went to heaven and met Jesus. His manager took me to his dressing room. He was very soft spoken and gentle. His music will last for generations to come. RIP Doc- we miss you!

@edemgbako, Igbos are never quick to praise their people who have done well or who are doing well. But they are always quick to speak ill of you if you do evil. To immortalize these music icons Celetine Ukwu, Osita Osadebe, Sr. Warrior, Oliver de Coque and Mike Ejeagha, Nelly Uchendu and others suppose to be a must but they are busy doing politics, trading or kidnapping one another.

The Igbos should immortalize music icons like Osadebe, Sr. Warrior, Oliver de Coque and Mike Ejeagha. The like of Tony Uchenna Ubesie deserves mention also for doing four wonderful novels in Igbo language. I guess there are a few others in other professions also. Those are great models not like our Igbo political class who have failed us woefully from the great Zik of Africa to Ohakim.

i was more of a child when Sir warrior san this song but tillthis day, his songs matter to me in everyday life. When i am down and play his song, i forget my worries and smile while starring at my kids. RIP warrior
