  • I absolutely love herbs =) Enjoyed your videos. Come visit us sometime;)

  • @4GreenEarth2 Hi! Visited your channel and found your Facebook page- great job with your videos ! We'll be sharing a few of your vids over on our FB page :-)

  • Thank you thank you! I have been trying to get cuttings to grow, and have failed with Stevia several times. I have only got 1 to grow out of the 8 that I have tried. Your method makes so much sense to me, I bet it would start seeds as well. Thank you for sharing this, I just know this will improve my propagation rate.

  • @marthale7 It definitely does the trick and is really easy too! I'd love to hear how you cuttings do!

  • @TheyDontSee The plant will have a tag with a trademark and patent number, and will usually have a cultivar (cultivated vaiety) name as well. One patented Stevia is "Crazy Sweet" and Richter's Herbs up in Canada holds the patent. Does that help?

  • @HerbsForBeginners So if I buy my stevia plant at Lowes or Walmart, how do I know if it's patented or not?

  • @jambexuk That's correct- if it is a plant you have bred and have patented!

  • Now I know how to grow a new generation of stevia after my first harvest in a few months.

Stevia > aspertame and sucralose combined.

  • Did I hear correctly that you said in the US you are 1) able to patent a plant and 2) it is not allowed to make copies of it? BTW, I'm from Europe.

  • @Lenering No, you won't need to water for quite awhile! The moist soil and closed bag will keep the cuttings from drying out. When you see lots of condensation forming on the bag just open it up a few inches for a few hours to release some of the moisture!
