67005 & 66153 working 2C79 at Nailsea & Backwell & Weston Super Mare.

Filmed on 24 August. Down at Bristol for the week on another holiday, 67005 (Queen's Messenger) and 66153 Top and Tailed 2C79 14:00 Cardiff Central to Taunton with 4 Cargo D Coaches on hire to First Great Western. 66153 was used last minutes because 67025 had a whell flat and no other 67 was at Barton Hill at the time. 67016 was with 67005 the next day so luckily 66153 was on the rear and so a rare video was able to be filmed.

Part 1: 67005 arrives into Nailsea & Backwell, 6 late. I boarded on to Weston Super Mare and a Lovley Smooth ride all the way. My first 67 for Haulage.

Part 2: 67005 and 66153 Depart Weston Super Mare on the final leg of the journey to Taunton.

Another Loco Hauled Service is meant to start in December for First Great Western, so more 67s down in the South West!!

Great video! The 67s usually runs top and tail most of the time! It took me by surprise when I first saw it at Bristol Temple Meads on 04/02/2009 working the 16:13 Taunton-Cardiff Central, 17:21 off Bristol Temple Meads (with cracking 2-tone too).
