I was a "poncy" winger but even I, as I got older, started to cheat and lie on the ball because I couldn't be bothered to run anywhere. It was a relevation! All those wasted years - I could have been quite a good player!

No I'm an openside flanker actually (check my channel). All I said was that it is entirely illogical (which you haven't and can't deny) to suggest that it is only cheating if you get caught. I didn't say it doesn't happen anywhere in either of my comments. You're just putting words into my mouth and making assumptions left right and centre because you can't intellectually argue with anything I actually wrote.

@LunchtimeLoonies Yeah i've had many a Flanker which i've caught Cheating but unless their cheating is injuring one of my players, I let them get away with it because every flanker cheats, even the ones on my team.Still it's not fair to just say Flankers are the only ones who do it but Pocock and McCaw are definately cheaters.

that class of england players were all cheats - i think they learnt their tricks from all the coppers in the england team before them - culminating in bloodgate courtesy of PC dean richards

rugby players , most notably forwards and especially wing-forwards, have "cheated" in this sort of style for years, ever since the game began. Blind side flankers are the masters of it at the bottom of the ruck and open sides are the masters in the.. well,... open.

Neil back did here what flankers, myself included, have being for years, if and when the occassion presents itself.

It's part of the game and you'll find any player getting away with it gets a pat on the back from team mates.
