Mahalo software expert Sean Hewitt offers a tutorial on syncing devices in MediaMonkey.

Syncing Options for Devices
---------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Connect your device using the cable that came with it, usually a USB cable.2. In the top menu, click Tools -- Options...3. In the left-hand menu, click Portable/Audio Devices if it's not already selected.4. Select your device from the list, then click Configure. 5. Click the Auto-Sync Options tab. From this, you can choose to Auto-Sync the device anytime it's connected. You can also choose to delete tracks not on the device's Auto-Sync list.6. In MediaMonkey Gold, you can click the Auto-Conversion tab. From this, you can set the program to convert songs into certain formats for specific media devices.7. From this window, you can also select music, podcasts, audiobooks and playlists that will sync with your device. In the Playlists tab, click Last 50 played. This will sync the last 50 songs played in MediaMonkey every time you connect your device. Click OK.

Syncing the Device
---------------------------------------------------------------------

1. In the left-hand menu of the MediaMonkey window, right click the name or icon of your device, then select Auto-Sync.2. Your device will begin syncing. At the bottom, you should see a message telling you this. It will also tell you how much free space the device has.
