Hurricane Bill waves on August 23rd 09

The wild and unpredictable Atlantic Ocean put together an show of waves courtesy of Hurricane Bill that side swipped the south coast of RI at Point Judith on August 23rd 2009. This video is totally incredible with smashing waves and surfers who are stupid enough to ride the most roughest waves that this hurricane season can provide. Hang on for the ride of your life for this video.

I did miss that feature oh wellll. I know that Hurricane produced some sweet surf for you east coasters! :).

Apparently you missed the surfline feature. Search "Hurricane Bill from the air." You will see some huge waves in New England.

I will believe it when I see it, I looked andlooked for quite a while for some good waves on youtube on the east from Bill. Wedge IS a surf spot. Ask Tom Curren who was there surfing July 24th's South swell monster.

yah dude check out my video we had a huge south swell last month that killed someone because it was so rough.

They peaked at 25 but usually were 20 all day.

PS rmacaux I was not in competition its just that we had dumbasses paddling out in those sized waves. There were 30 rescues throughout the day and 1 death.

I remember when i went to the wedge at Newport Beach. It was sick. They crash so close to the shore..

these waves are small the surfers aren't stupid to be out there I bet they are pissed that a MAJOR hurricane passed through and they didn't get waves bigger than 6 feet lol.
