  • Hello: I admire your effort..but 5 7 5 is no longer acceptable..the Japanese syllabic count is much shorter. I would hate to have missed these gems for lack of a few syllables.

    after the speeches / the honored dead return / to their silence

    sleepless night / I touch gently / her empty space

    winter gravestone / hyphen between dates / my father's life
