Well I have the same feeling with you at first. When I saw the box art, I thought it is very childish but after I watched an episode, and I was "Eh? The story is not bad.". And I slowly like it because of the story. It has nothing to do with the out looking etc. This series is really great. Or you hate the story. I don't know but I really like it. Since this series is more better than the anime and manga.
