The song itself is about America, but to those that bash America's celebration, shame on you. Soldiers as a whole deserve every bit of respect we can offer. These songs of tribute go to the soldiers that fight honorably for their country. Nothing's pretty about war and peace is too ideal. So lets all just be content with these days where we can honor our countries respective hero. In our case, it was those people who fought to become there own country and succeeded.
