This beast is the powerful Mounted Flail, taking out rhodendum and trees with easy sweep of its arm...don't get too close.

Rhodendum and tree clearing are important aspects of Cumbria Wildlife Trust's work in returning Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve to raised mire or bog habitat. The clearing allows water levels to rise and so encourages bog flora and fauna to return to this unique and rare habitat. Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve was recently commended in the national Living Wetland Awards. For more information see www.cumbriawildlfetrust.org.uk
