@JustForTheJokes Now that I think about it, I think that he was always a douchebag, but he never talked enough or was outgoing enough for people to see that until he came back Scranton as a temp after he was fired as vice president.

@JustForTheJokes Yeah. The hipster Ryan is kind of a douche, but I have to admit that I find him funnier. Plus the Ryan in the earlier seasons wasn't very vocal. He was very timid and quite. Ever since he was promoted to vice president of Dunder Mifflin and fired, he has been a lot more outgoing and talkative. He's also a lot more laid back. I don't think that I would want the old Ryan back, but they can tone down his douchbagginess (made up that word for lack of a better word).
