I just got an AirStash to use with my 16gb iPad & I love it. It creates a WIFI hotspot strictly for accessing data loaded onto an SD card up to 32gb. Now my iPad is no longer limited to 16gb & rather limited only by how SD cards I own. Since it streams the data I don't need to use up any space on my iPad/iPhone to access the data stored on the SD card. Apps like AirVideo, DropBox, etc are awesome if you have 3G or WIFI but are useless to me when out of service or traveling abroad
I have to ask can you use the internet from a home network and use the airstash at the same time or do you have to switch back and forth. Just wondering
@letsgo3000 For me, that's a non issue though, I have a file server I run things like that on and a 100mb connection. But I guess for some people it might be a good solution.
@Argentium009 Zumocast seems to me a lot like AirVideo? He explains at 2:30 . Zumocast doesn't work if your Internet connection at home ist too slow and your PC has to run all the time you're connecting to it.
Why would I use that when Zumocast is free and I can stream the contents of the 40 terrabytes on my network to it if I want to for free? Don't see that this device serves a lot of real purpose. Unless I'm missing something. Or even Dropbox, and I can access these things from any WiFi hotspot and with DropBox I can access that from 3G even.
Meh, I want One --.
but its out of Stock...
Anyone wanna sell theirs ?

What is the transfer speed to iPad / iPhone 4? That is, how long would it take to import 250 MB?
