@thedecod3 it wasnt a rocket but did pretty good, till i decided it needed more lift :) now its sitting at somewhere between 6-8" with a spooled ford 9" and a detroit in the front hp d-44 with 36" swamper tsl's now its pretty sucked out.
gears would help but i have a ford 5.0 t-18 4 spd and a np 205 to swap in and the gears i have will work perfectly

@jmfb143 its a 4.0 or at least thats what in my jeep
-
is that the 2.8?

Man lockers make it so much easier..

Every time I watch videos like this I always remind my self, Must Get Lockers... It's so much easier to get up stuff like this with them. As with all hobbies it takes time and money to get your rig how you want it. BTW, I don't have my lockers yet, just the factory limited slip in the rear. Ah, One day my dreams will come true. LOL Check out my wheeling video...

who ever said the could do that with a civic is a moron. a jeep is one of the best ways to do all types of roading. be it sand, rock, or snow jeeps rock all situations. if u want a 100k rock crawler test against a jeep. see what happens.
my 2.8 was fine till it lost a ring and started burning more oil that gas.with the 33's it wasnt too bad 4th became 5th pretty much all the time though:)
if you want to add a little more power you could swap in a 3.1 or 3.4 v6 from a mid 90's camaro (identical motor just more displacment)

@jmfb143 it was originally a 2.8 but now its a 3.1 for now, considering swapping a 4bt cummins diesel or a ford 5.0

it's actually in south eastern manitoba canada, near a small town called rennie.
there's a stream right before the rock hill that the beavers try to plug up so it got named the beaver dam
