You are talking about M&K WTF? You should be talking about sales when it comes to pc gaming being alive. PC games sell like shit FPS games sell ALWAYS more on consoles. This definitely was not the case before 360 and PS3. So you have to be a complete joke to play this day and age on your desk with M&K. Sure you can play with a controller relaxed from your couch but you really cant on pc. Try facing gamers who use M&K with your controller so have fun being clued to your desk.

@hilpparisilkki That's the thing -- I _do_ have fun being glued to my desk. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. If it bothers YOU, then sit on the couch! Use whatever controller you like! I don't mind. :P

And PC sales are kinda hard to talk about; yeah, I know the numbers _look_ bad, but those are only physical retail sales. Most PC sales come from digital distribution. And considering Steam posts record-breaking profits year after year... I don't think the PC is dying.

Also, I don't want to suppose cybernetic implant gaming, because I'm squeamish, and I don't like the idea of anything getting in my eyes, even contact lenses.

Pc you get upgrades to the max, you can get a PC game to run so smooth, and the lag is so much more handled on PC. I can't play CoD on xbox without the host migrating 10 freaking times, but on PC, you get dedicated servers, never had a host migrate. And I know you don't like FPS's, but its a good example. All the fighting over who has the better graphics: xbox or ps3, well PC dominates NO DOUBT. You can buy graphics cards, can you on console, no. Pc is so much more customizable and upgradable.

@ultimategcs I helped out a bit by posting a link to this video on the video's forum topic on The Escapist, and by sending MovieBob a private message with this in it. I know he's busy and he doesn't have time to reply to everything, but given how much of a big deal it is, at least on the forum, I hope he addresses some of the issues he left out before and explains himself better. Then again, that particular episode was longer than usual so... what was up with that?

that's not even mentioning the advances in pc hardware over consoles, and the very fact that consoles have been trying to IMITATE the pc for years now. also, laptops are still pc's etc etc. all in all not a very educated video on bob's part. :\
