I don't even use a DVD drive myself. I've a 1TB external and a desktop with two DVD Drives. What I do is just take my disks, put their images on my external, and I can stream the disk images to my laptop and mount them through my W7 Homegroup.

The lack of DVD drive on here is no big deal to me.

its an Ultra Lite type laptop, 50-50 chance they wont come with one, seems that the 15.6" UL's come with them more often
