@UveBeenLuPwned123094 Bebe took a really long time too, i had standing room tickets and it was the only part of the show where i could actually feel my feet lol, I love her and as Roxie Bebe was KILLER but damn girl gave a long ass monologue

Just surprised about the "milking" comments. It seems to me that Chita Rivera's ROXIE was connecting to her audience (including the conductor). ROXIE would have wanted to tell her WHOLE story - to anyone who would listen; that's how the dame was built. Anyway, a little fringe, a whole lot of Chita...and here is one man who is falling on his knees thanking GOD!!

have you seen ANY other roxie do that dialogue? it's always very long, but very enjoyable. charolette d'ambroise, for example. i recently saw her on broadway this past saturday as roxie and she took about 6 minutes to do this part, but she (and chita alike) are so fantastic that you don't even notice, in my opinion.
