it's so annoying! I have bought the duo pen for laptop on amazon.com, and first, I were quite irritating that they did't write that the one I had bought only would work for Windows XP and vista, but Now I have got myself and old dell inspiron 8500 with xp, and It just won't work! okay fine it have been working for about 2 seconds, and then it would work again... what is wrong with it!? anyone have any suggestions?

The advantage of this Pen Kit is that:
-it does not register the hand as the "input device" when is touching the LCD,
but only the pen. (so - no need to keep the pen high away from LCD)
SEE:
High end-touchscreen laptops (&tablet PC's) of today have that problem,
as they DO register hand AND the pen at the same time,
or anything else that touches the screen, as they are configured that way,
to register anything touching the screen as the as the "input device").

thanks for your interest. The DUO pen comes with a metal base mounter where the receiver, with its magnetic base snaps and securely fastened. You may see photos in the link about the details on how to install the DUO pen base-mounter here: buydigitalpen(dot)com and look for Digital Pen Tablet Converter. Good luck!

@naborghsoj08
You can attach on the top, left, right edge of screen as 'laptop mode'. You can also attach on paper as 'tablet mode'. There's a selection on the taskbar should you decide to use it a 'laptop mode' where you can write directly on screen - please see details at buydigitalpen(dot)com . Another selection is clip the receiver on regular paper so that you can write using the ink-tip. Good luck!
