NY FED chair resigns over ties to Goldman Sachs, Arlen Specter; party switch, dubious website

Not illegal. This begs the question; how many others in the FED are directly benefiting from the decisions THEY make in giving money to banks?? Arlen Specter is in the news for his switch from Republicrat to Democan right after he said he was sticking with the Republicrats because they were needed in the face of all the Democans in the Senate, House, and the President as well. This is not surprising he is out to get reelected and is doing what all politicians do when it is time to get reelected....ANYTHING. Which brings us to his biggest mess, the bogus "charity" website specterforthecure.com which is supposed to be into finding a cure for cancer and asks for donations. Nice if your money went to finding cures for cancer but it doesn't. All of the money taken in by the website goes to Specter's reelection campaign, talk about gall, and he is even a victim of cancer himself. He is just showing everyone that he is a politician. They're all the same.

The Star Trek "news" thing is little different than the hype surrounding any number of Film Releases, with one exception. They are milking the Human Interest angle since a famous teacher that died from cancer but didn't whine about it got a small part in the movie.

True; the only thing central banks around the world can do is steal. Sure they might be able to divert money here and there, and fund projects out of nowhere, (which debases the buying power of the currency) they usually are not productive with their projects. But then again we don't know what they do with money, there could be a colony on the moon right now.

Although even if we have benefited from them, though I doubt it, it pales in comparison to the amount of suffering it cost the world.
