I was only able to get it happening with the uncrossed parallel tuning! I only recently committed to the ascending 5ths on the rhythm side. I really like it for that bass sound. Once I figured out my chords I was surprised how quickly it came. I respect the crossed/inverted fifths guys but I just can't make it work.
