@urbster1 its always a matter of give a little take a little. anyone thinking for themselves can clearly see "Legalize marijuana and tax it - YES or NO" and vote yes because it really is that simple.

yeah, black market. also governator decriminalized just a few weeks before the election right? prop 19 would have increased the penalty for like smoking in front of children to a felony. oh well, redo the laws and try again next time

@oldhacks It's fun cause it's illegal in the sense that it satisfies that rebellious part of the brain that loves breaking the rules for the sake of breaking the rules. I think if it were legal a lot of people would lose some of the exitement that goes along with smoking. I think marijuana use might even decrease because of that when it finally is legalized.

@oldhacks It's no surprise all the Cali Dems like Boxer and Brown came out against it.
Some leadership would have been great. It would not have been hard to get the youth vote out on this issue, honestly...
