THE GAME: Good strategy with poor tactics. The plan was to lure Georgie into surrounding LeadMeister's tank corps which was strategically positioned in a long shallow valley. The bait was taken and the trap set, but LeadMeister's victory depended upon his reinforcements arriving before being overtaken. Timing, timing, timing ...

@Devokonstai - I play this game also with a PBEM club.You'll prevail only if you 1) use combined arms 2) avoid head on tactics 3) use any kind of stratagem and "unfair" tactic possible 4) not just anticipate, but *work into your plan* losing 5 or even 8 for each German heavy put out of action. I play this game too, especially the eastern front CMBB as you see here, and it's lots of fun. I like playing as the soviets, because you have to use every creative tactic possible to win
