  • I really don't like how this lady trains that puppy because although she's explaining well, the puppy NEVER does what she says. I taught my pup to stay in 5 minutes. I just told him down, said stay, and waited 5 seconds before the treat, then 10, then 20, then 30. When he could hold it for 30 I would walk away and he would stay.

  • Thumbs up if you thought she was going to let out a big fart at At 0:40!

  • @lolosofli logic of the day

  • of course the puppy stayed she right in front of him...try moving away that's usually when they try to follow u

well it sounds like your dog is hyperactive so try taking him for a nice long walk or run to burn off some energy before your training sessions. and if the treats you are using are not something your dog really cares for then you will have to find something he does. i use real diced chicken and that will usually get the attention of any dog.

  • @nobodypersonsomeone i had the same problem, you just need to find the right treat that will get the attention of the puppie, for mine it was chicken, some puppies do not like the treat brands.

  • But how is that teaching stay if it's just laying down in front of you. Your not moving away so it's not really 'staying' it's just laying in front of you.

  • The problem with my collie puppy is that he's too full of energy. He won't ever sit in front of me without bounding and leaping around me. He doesn't respond to treats either, he doesn't really seem to like them lol

  • @MrGrAnPa69 That animal cruelty.
