I'm just saying that at some point Haslem is making his shots, hustles, defensive stops when necessary. Especially if things aren't working for Dwyane and Lebron. That's why I put him on that level. Nonetheless, whatever you say I respect that.

Haslem doesn't deserve to put in the same sentence as Ibaka and Deng. Deng is an all star and Ibaka is an all-nba defensive first teamer. But I agree, Budinger is a very solid role player.

Chase Budinger, may not be a superstar caliber but good enough to be a supporting cast. Just like Udonis Haslem, Serge Ibaka and Loul Deng.

WTF??? How in any way did I denigrate black athletes? I didn't, anyone with half a brain can read my comments and see that. I know your type, either a white jackass who contrives racist accusations to pose as a noble anti racist or a black guy inventing racism to play the poor victim role. Change the quote to: JUcheq1988 is to stupid to post an intelligent comment.

Yes, it does happen to other players for a lot of different reasons. I'm just saying the reason he fell draft was due to being stereotyped. Just because it happens to others doesn't invalidate my point (see my other posting).

BTW What's with all the people who are say he can't play D. I've seen all Rockets games this year and his D hasn't been that bad, no he's not exactly lockdown and he should put more effort into D but you can say that about a lot of scorers. It's stereotyping again.

Chase got his 3pt to a very respectable .402 this year, that's not inconsistent. My original point was that a lot of offensively minded black players don't play a lick of D but it doesn't hurt draft status, saying white guys can't play D is a coded way of saying they're not athletic. Chase is athletic enough but like a lot of scorers in college didn't need to play D, he's athletic enough to but needs to work on technique and concentration, maybe upper body strength. He was stereotyped in draft.

He fell into the 2nd round because he cant play D really and his outside shot is iffy. Some games like this he drains 3s no problem but most games Chase struggles behind the 3 point line, he is a good shooter but inconsistent. Very athletic with tremendous hops but still needs to work on his 3 shot and Defense before he gets the real recognition as a star which he is.
