http://www.thelovevitamin.com - How are Vibram Fivefingers for barefoot running? Is it normal for them to give you heel blisters?

Remember I wrote a post a while back about how great going barefoot is for your body? In that article, I mentioned that I wanted to pick myself up a pair of Vibram Fivefingers, which are minimalist shoes. They emulate the experience of walking and running barefoot while offering a bit of protection for the feet!

Well I did end up getting a pair, and so far they are a HUGE improvement over my running shoes. Check out the video to get my review of my new footwear!

  • I want to be a frig'in hippie again :)

  • I'm really natural cuteness ;)

  • Don't listen tithe haters on here. Vibrams are great if you build up slowly as recommended. I used to get chin splints and knee pain in regular running shoes. These helped me run again. They're also great for strengthening weak ankles like mine. Also going barefoot in nature from time to time is great for undoing electromagnetic stress. This is not a hippy thing.

  • shes hot

  • 3:52 Thank you!!! I bought my pair of vibrams a few weeks ago and I really enjoy my pair as well. I read some advice somewhere else on the internet that I'll reiterate here: Work your way up when you're running!!! I decided to do sprints a couple days after buying my vibrams and although I really, really enjoyed it, my body was sore for three days afterwards. It's just like getting into fitness -- your body will thank you for it with time! She's right!

  • talk about posture....

  • you are smoking! ;)

  • People have been using and improving on footwear for tens of thousands of years. Now, all of a sudden, some granola hoarding hippie retard has discovered that shoes are bad. Lets stop building houses because getting hit by rain releases pent up energy. You can go live in nature the natural way if you want, the way people used to. (Which would be hunting meat, killing animals, and uh wearing primitive shoes so you can run and hunt faster.)
