Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) is a coalition of nonprofit organizations that work together and shares resources and knowledge to ensure effective disaster response and recovery through cooperation, communication, coordination, and collaboration. Members of VOAD provide a variety of services, which address the four phases of disaster: Preparation, Response, Recovery and Mitigation. Our goal is to combine our resources in effort to reduce duplication of services and maximize resources available to those affected by a disaster.
