North Carolina Visionary Folk Artist Mary Paulsen recycles the unwanted trash and treasures of her community into bright, happy art to help feed hungry children. Mary and her art have helped to feed thousands of hungry children in America and throughout the world since beginning her magical folk art garden back in 1996. Through her creative, fun-loving recycling, Mary has kept thousands of lbs. of trash out of her local landfill. Mary and her garden are located on a coastal, country road between Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC. Next time youre in the vicinity, check out her latest Lighthouse Gallery built out of and filled with her paintings on the reverse side of old glass windows.
Quite nice stuff! We've got lots in common! Reverse painting. I've never heard of that.

OMGosh :) I bought two pieces from Mary last summer and they are in this vid. The piece on the left shot at 1:54 and same piece again at 4:44 is now mine. Also, the second piece I bought is the abstract that's on the ground from 7:19-7:24. Thank you for doing this video on Mary! She is so totally cool.
