Georgia Vacation Cabin Rentals

http://cabinsbysundance.com We had some guests who came up to stay in our cabins in Blue Ridge, Georgia last year for Christmas. They got up to their cabin, I went by to check on them and they said, "What's there to do up here?" It blew me away when they asked that. Then they said, "What does your family like to do up here?" The light bulb went on and I said, "Here is what we like to do up here. . ."

Sometimes you get so busy and wrapped up that you say, "We're going to rent a cabin, we're going to go on vacation." You don't even think about What are we going to do when we get there? That's the challenge to people when they come up here to visit. There is plenty to do. . . but where are you going to find it? How are you going to find it? If you decide you want to go fishing, If you decide you want to go horseback riding, or hiking, I want you to know where the place is and is it worth going to?

I don't want you to say, "Wow, I wish we knew about that waterfall, it was right around the corner from us." I want them to say, "Wow, we saw that waterfall. It was awesome." Or, "We saw that sunset. I'm glad Tom told us to go to Brasstown Bald for the sunset."

Coming from Orlando, you would think that I would be the Disney World King and just love that. To me, that is entertainment, you have to shell out money for entertainment. Here, it is about things you do together with the family. If you are going to take a 30 or 40 minute drive to go see something, is it going to be worth it for you? I want you to enjoy your experience, I want you to have the best vacation you have ever had in your life.

Part of the reason I am doing this is because before we moved up here, we came up here on vacation. Do I remember all of the things we did together? No. But I do remember the closeness time of sharing, togetherness and enjoyment that we had together.

I love Blue Ridge, I want you to love it as much as me. I've been on the Appalachian Trail talking to people about renting cabins on my cell phone. I get to run around the mountains, I get to go see things I get to go do things, and yes, I do some work. I'll go pop out and go hike up the Appalachian Trail for an hour, then I'll get back in my truck and go back to work. I'll go stop as see a waterfall, go see a river.

I want you to come back to Blue Ridge, maybe someday you will want to come back and be my neighbor.
