  • I am sincerely excited for you, John.

Any journey in the nature of what you are about to undertake, forget of this magnitude, will end up becoming one of the most self-affirming experiences a person can embark on.

  • Counting on it. Thanks for the comment.

  • where are you starting at man?

will you be filming the whole way ?

Are you planning on thru hiking?

ive been wanting to do it for a couple of years now.. Don't really Know anyone who's down to hike it with me yet

wish i could go.its a long trip for me

all the way across the country so i have to make it count with the thru hike for sure

ill subscribe to your channel would love to watch the progress man

    Peace~~

  • I leave the 17th of Feb. I will be filiming some brief blogs along the way and I am thru hiking. Here's something for ya... if you can't find anyone to go with, do it alone. Just bring the propper gear. A wise man once said of adventures... "just do it man, just do it." So go for it. There is still time this season. Thanks for the blessings and interest.

  • do you bring anthing for bear protection

    how about snakes?

    two biggest fears

lmao if you can believe that haha

seen a few videos of people screwing around with snakes on the trails

and read some stories how snakes had show aggresion towards hikers simply trying to walk past them on the trail

    any advice?

  • There is bear spray, but I'm not sure that I'm going to even bother with it. I'm not affraid of snakes or anything. Basically the general rule is, leave it alone and it will leave you alone. I've never heard of a snake being aggressive toward backpackers who are just walking by. They just want to get away. Good to see you're interested in this stuff.
