Four years ago, Kim Harris' life revolved around horses--she trained them, showed them, and she even taught riding lessons. On October 29, 2003, Kim had an accident while on a trail ride that left her with a brain injury--and kept her away from horses until she visited Camp ASCCA.
...this could be a major step in taking back her old life...
Kim, who moved from Germany to Huntsville, AL at the age of three and is now the mother of a college-age son and daughter, attended Camp ASCCA's Session 7 with Alabama Head Injury Foundation. When horseback riding showed up on the list of camp activities, Kim knew this could be a major step in taking back her old life.
Camp ASCCA is Alabama's Special Camp for Children and Adults. The world's largest, and best, outdoor recreation center of its kind, ASCCA is open year-round. Visit Camp ASCCA at http://www.campascca.org/journal/
