This may very well be my all-time favorite record. The perfect combo: Al Bowlly, the fantastic Ray Noble's Orchestra and a song with lyrics that sum it all up! Played on my 10-50.

i have a bootleg soundtrack of THE SHINING and the ballroom songs are the highlight.

Love this tune, too - someone posted on EBay an article about the Netherland Plaza Hotel in Cincinnati, OH. (perhpas this country's best xample of French Art Deco stylee - from 1931) using this tune as it's backdrop - perfect for this! Thanks for posting!
