From my grandparents' home movies. A friend of the family would take the kids on trips back in the 1930s. This looks like the trip to Nassau, The Bahamas. I'm guessing all we see here took place close to 1934 or 1935. One ship we see the name of is the Majestic. The trip would have left from NYC. The last 30 seconds has some footage of another trip, this time to Bermuda over New Year's 1934/35.

My name is Andrew Mendes and I collect ocean liner memorabilia.

I was watching your footage. I cannot type my e-mail because of the search engine ad robots. But I am sure can solve the puzzel. It is my Firstname.LastName@gmx.com

You are welcome to use this footage. I also have some ocean liner scenes in my "Trip to Nova Scotia, 1937" and a shot of the "S. S. Acadia (some time between 1932 and WW2)" from that trip.

The USS Manhattan is also in my "Florida (Jupiter Island Club, Hobe Sound, FL) pt 2, (1938?, 1939? Definitely 1941)",

Some others are in "kids trip from NYC to Bermuda, 1934-35", and we see a visit to the Navy ship the USS Chester in "trip to visit the USS Chester, 1931". Write to me here for any questions

I wrote to you, via YouTube's message system, just now so hopefully that will work. If not, we'll figure something out.

somehow I accidently deleted your message to me which had you e-mail. But I am sure that any format would be fine, as I use premier. It should be able to take just about anything.

While what I was going to purpose was if you send me the best quality of it that you have available, that I can see if I can fix the quality with my editing software as it seems relly dark. If I can then I can use it and then send you the copy back fixed. If I cannot fix it then I obviously won't use it but atleat I will try. The reason I ask is that I monitize my videos, so its only fair that I offer something in return. :-) Thank you.
