What are the odds of this eh-just when I was video taping the stretch from MP 49 to MP 44 for "Hilda"
Just because I know to pull over and wait when I see the first DPS officer, how are tourists and so forth supposed to know?
Anyhow. Even if they mitigate the Davidson bridge and the RR Bridge on I-10, what do you do when the mine trucks ARE the wide loads? Or when other deliveries are going to Sonoita and Patagonia-how are they going to fit? This is not in a planned mitigation area either.

bbaker is dead on. I haul OD freight as well. You are told exactly where to go. Period. We pay a lot of extra money to be road hogs. This was not even a very large load. Surprised to see so many cops and escorts. Quit your bitchin.

I run oversize loads. First of all, all loads run on routes the state dictates. You can not deviate from the route listed on the permit unless escorted by police or have it in writing by an officer. If you have an issue, you contact the state. You worry about tourists, but see the police escort.
