In Summer 2007, my good friend Oskar (chappybolo) acquired a 3/4" scale L.B.S.C. Maisie Atlantic from the DLS Pages. Unfortunately, she was in a state of mild disrepair, and needed an overhaul just to get her to operate under steam. So, over the course of several months, he fixed her up to operating condition, finally operating her for the first time under steam in winter 2007. In this video, she's getting tested on compressed air for the first time at the club. The locomotive was built circa 1940, and the actual drawings date back to the 1930's. Despite that, the locomotive did well for her very first time under power, apart from a faulty fitting on the air inlet.
