Troy Smith was the best player in the Big Ten during the 2000's. He beat out an All-American to get the stating job and out played Chad Henne every year. I'm shocked that he isn't playing for anyone in the NFL.

I like krenzel put please get serious. After maurice left Ohio state was still Good.
but not the same. We even lost to michigan with Krenzel. Also the last time I checked Krenzel did not win the heiseman........

I agree, Troy Smith had so many weapons on offense to go to. But Krenzel worked with what he had and took em to the NC and won.

Troy Smith's 3-0 record vs. stupid, lame michigan will always be in my mind. But I think Craig Krenzel would be my favorite QB.
